Ford Transit LX 2.2 TDCi 130 T260 SWB Low Roof

*****DEPOSIT TAKEN***** After 3 1/2 years, the time has come for me to sell my beloved Transit as I no longer need such a big van. I searched high and low for a Transit with this spec and not in white and had to go over 150 miles for this one. MK7 2006 '56 plate' 5 speed manual. Euro 4 (cheap tax, £140 a year) 108018 miles. 2 previous owners. Colour is Metallic Blue Ambition. 130 PS. LX spec. Elec. windows, heated/elec. door mirrors, 4 wheel ABS with disc brakes all round, ESP, drivers air bag, power steering, Pipercross panel air filter, Ford alarm/immobiliser/deadlocks, trip computer, quick clear screen, auto lights/wipers, front fog lights, ply-lined, full steel bulkhead, Parrot hands free kit, after market Clarion CZ101E CD player with AUX port, connected for steering wheel controls, Kenwood door speakers, drivers armrest, strong wooden shelving unit and LED lighting in load area, blue Ford decals on sides and in quarter glass (easily removed if not to taste), Ford logo number plate holders, 4 Ford wheel trims, spare wheel and jack, good tyre treads all round. Most of the service history is present but no stamps between 86696 and 107957 miles, as I used to have my brother do the servicing. The first was just after I bought it at around 92000, then about 96000, again at around 100000, then again around 104000 and then most recently a full service at 107957 along with an MOT valid until 10/09/2016 by GP Motors in Leicester. Service stamps are 13842, 31899, 46421,61238, 86696 and 107957. I have all the old MOT certificates from 2009 onwards. Service book, owners manual, audio manual, Ford document wallet, 2 keys, V5 all present. I have owned this van since February 2012 and since then have covered about 18000 miles only using it for my commute (11 miles a day), fishing trips and the odd run to Northamptonshire. The first owner was an electrician and the second a carpenter so the van has never done any hard or dirty work. This shows in the condition of the interior which is mint apart from a small amount of wear on the drivers seat (pictured), armrest and some heel wear in the drivers foot well. The second owner always had seat covers on the seats which I kept up with, buying a heavy duty set with Ford logos on them. These cost about £90 and will be included in the sale, as will the fire extinguisher mounted on the bulkhead. The exterior of the van is good for a 9 year old Transit however it has some car park dings and scratches and it is starting to bubble/rust in the usual places around the arches and sill under the side door. I suspect this is due to it spending the first 6 years of it's life on the west coast with the sea air eating away at it. It also has quite a few touch ups that don't quite match properly, particularly around the roof as the previous owner used to have a roof rack on it. Overall though it is very good and the front end benefits from a recent refurbishment/respray. I always planned to do the rest of the bodywork bit by bit but as I said, I don't really need the van any more and I am looking to buy a Subaru Impreza, so the Transit has got to go. The only thing that's ever let me down was the battery in 2013 which was replaced and has a 3 year warranty valid until March 2016 (I have the receipt). In 2013 the van had new glow plugs and an EGR valve. If you want any more info/photos, just give me a call. Overall, I think you will struggle to find better. Test drives welcome with proof of insurance otherwise I will take you out in it. Can be viewed Saturdays, Sundays or Mondays only due to work. £4250ovno. *****DEPOSIT TAKEN*****
