Parrot for sale, Black Headed Caique Parrot - 1 year old in Leicester, Leicestershire for sale

This beautiful, cheeky, cute and clever Black-Headed Parrot is a medium-small, short-tailed parrot with a black crown, yellow to orange head, whitish belly, yellow thighs and crissum, green back, wings and upper tail, blue primaries and greyish-black bill and feet. He is an energetic parrot who has a large cage (toys included) in which he has space to hop around and play with his toys. He most enjoys eating apples, as we have observed those are his favourite along with other various fruits, vegetables and nuts. Jasper moved in with us when he was 5 months old, July 2014 and is 11 months old this month, January 2015. We are unsure of the gender of Jasper. At the time we bought him we were told he was male. The only way to determine the gender of an individual black-headed parrot are surgical sexing and DNA sexing. DNA sexing is safer for birds than surgical sexing. Black-headed parrots poorly mimic human speech. Jasper tends to mimic other surrounding sounds, such as alarm clocks, microwave-oven beeps, laughs, and whistles. Jasper has learnt to laugh along with my son and really developed a lot since we have had him. We would like to sell Jasper with cage as this has become his home and would like to give him an easy transition to his new loving family. We are looking to sell both Jasper and the cage for £515, not only do you get him and cage, you also get the toys and remainder of his food at the time of sale.
